On Sunday February 8th we will once again join other churches and community organizations by participating in the Souper Bowl of Caring. This event seeks to help alleviate hunger in our town. Help us do that by bringing a non-perishable food item to church or by contributing funds on that day. All food items will be brought to the Sayville Food Pantry and monetary donations will be sent to Sharing a Meal soup kitchen. In honor of the event, the Sunday School and Outreach Committees will host Coffee Hour that day. Thank you for helping to erase hunger in our area!
A Calendar has been placed on the church bulletin board for our Church Family members who wish to participate in the New Calendar. If you would like to be included, please sign up by adding your name, birthday, and anniversary, if applicable. Please note that providing your birth year is not required. Pastor Madlon is available at his UMC-Sayville office on Wednesdays, between the hours of 1:30 to 3 PM. If you need to meet with the Pastor, please telephone the office to schedule an appointment.
Please consider joining the Thrift Shop Volunteer Team! We will train you and pair you with a seasoned worker! Friday (1st and 3rd Friday of the month) and Saturday Shifts are 2 1/2 hours each or a full day is 5 hours. Grab a friend and volunteer, help the church and the surrounding communities, and catch up with your friend. Contact Tracy (516) 456-4581 or Marion (631) 767-6580 or sign up in the church hallway.
We continue to collect non-perishable food for the Sayville Pantry. A bin is available for donations at the Greene Avenue entrance to the Sanctuary.
